Big News!

Well, I am going to be a mother-in-law again. My daughter Hollie got engaged on Sunday. We knew that it was coming and yes, she is young. I still think that they will be ok. The date has been set right now as November 15th. Dan and Hollie are going to get married at Mac Park in Smithfield and the reception will be at our neighborhood church. We have most of it organized and planned and already started! Be sure to let Hollie how excited you are about this whole new chapter of her life. We are. Greg is struggling to let his baby girl go. He isn't very good at change and this will be a change. I will, however, have a guest room now.

A weekend in Montana

So Greg and I took off this weekend to Montana. Greg got us a REALLY nice room at Buck's T-4 by the Big Sky ski resort and it was so nice. Greg went fishing and I just sort of hung out! Perfect weekend. I read like 3 books that we got from the library and Greg went fishing where ever he wanted along the way. We took the long way home, through Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. It was such a pretty drive! The boys went to Grandma Smiths house and Hollie spent the weekend with Katie, Skyler, and Griffin. Griffin is talking up a storm now so I can't wait to see him again. They went to the zoo and I am sure that they had a great time. Cam and Con got to play grandma's game cube and swim so I am sure that they had fun there. Here are some pics of Greg and his fish!

The Neeley Family

This is the Greg and Cathy Neeley family blog. I didn't think that I would ever do this because we just don't have anything that really happens in our lives. We just live day to day and enjoy it as much as we can. We love to get out and do whatever! We go to ball games, camp, fish (alot!) travel, swim in whatever body of water is available, and just enjoy the socks off of whatever. That is not to say we are a perfect family. The kids fight, the cats make messes and believe it or not, the parents get grumpy! We are just about ready to start the new school year. Hollie will be a Freshman at USU this year. She isn't really sure what she wants to do yet, but is hoping a light will go on once she gets started. Connor will be in 9th grade this year. In a new school with about 5 times the number of students he has been with. This should be a challenging year for him. Cam starts 6th grade. He is excited to have a locker. Greg and Cathy are just looking forward to getting away by themselves every now and again. Maybe to Yellowstone again in the fall, maybe Disneyland again in the fall. When Greg gets a wild hair, we all just go along for the ride! Once we get started with school and things happen again, I will update this blog. Cool huh?
